After the NICE guidance on head injury in 2014, the position statement from the neurocritical care society in 2015, and the article from Manara et al. (suggetsed algorithm below) in 2016, a consensus statement has been produced in an effort to unify the varying practices within the UK when managing and prognosticating in devastating brain injury (whatever the pathology)
